Hip Circles

To perform hip circles, start with both arms fisted and extended out to the sides. Follow these four steps:

  1. Raise your knee.

  2. Swing your knee outward in a gate motion.

  3. Lift your heel while keeping your knee steady.

  4. Move your heel backward and return to the starting position.

Keep one foot off the ground throughout the exercise and complete 5–8 repetitions on each side.
