Banana

For people who follow the Sun Diet™, bananas are only appropriate to consume where they are grown, which is 30 degrees above or below the equator. Half a banana has approximately 10 grams of carbohydrates. Bananas are not good for accelerated fat loss phase because they enter the bloodstream at an increased rate and increase insulin to a greater extent. Bananas have a higher glycemic index compared to other fruits such as apples, oranges, peaches, and plums. Eat recently-ripened bananas because they'll absorb more slowly when compared to overripe bananas.

The glycemic load combines the amount of carbohydrates you eat and how many carbohydrates you consume at one sitting. A half banana has a moderate glycemic index because you are only eating approximately 10-12 carbohydrates per sitting. As you consume more banana, the carbohydrate load will increase which will in turn increase your insulin levels to a greater extent.
