Cantaloupe
¾ of cubed (or ¼ whole) cantaloupe has 10 grams of carbohydrates. Cantaloupe has a medium glycemic rating but it depends on how much you consume at one sitting. ¾ cup cantaloupe has a low glycemic load, 1½ cup has a medium glycemic load, and 2½ cup has a high glycemic load. The glycemic load scale measures what type of carbohydrates you consume versus how many carbohydrates you consume at one sitting. Low glycemic foods are beneficial because they keep insulin and blood sugar levels more stable.
