Eggs

Pasture-raised eggs are widely considered among the highest quality available. Hens are raised outdoors on grassy pastures, where they forage for a natural diet of insects and plants. This lifestyle is associated with deeper-colored yolks and higher levels of nutrients such as omega‑3 fatty acids and vitamin D. A whole large egg contains approximately 6 grams of protein, about 5 grams of fat, and less than 1 gram of carbohydrates.
